GOTCHAS:
- It seems slow trying to cull your images and maybe when editing too. Create Smart Previews. Also, see the Lightroom Queen's advice on the subject.
- Selecting multiple images in the filmstrip panel does not allow you to perform operations on all of those images. Use the grid display to select multiple images. Note, alternatively, you can turn on the auto-syncing feature for images selected in the filmstrip, see the manual for details
- When Importing, check if you are adding, moving, copying or what? Which one do you want to do?
- When Importing, if you do not want subfolders, uncheck the box and choose "Organize: into one folder" in the drop down menu.
- Where did the Toolbar go? Type the T key again, you probably hit it by accident.
- Quiting too soon can leave some metadata hanging in mid-process. Even though the message says it will finish when you start it up again. I prefer to let it finish before I quit. This is a long time if you have imported a lot of images or made a lot of changes..
